Zayn hopes that works. He hopes Liam feels guilty (because, really, it's not that hard to make Liam feel guilty) and changes his mind and just stays with him on the boat, nice and dry and safe. He hopes that he hits a nerve, so that Liam just resigns to dry land, and doesn't endanger himself or put Zayn into the position of having to be a hero should something happen to him. Zayn can't even fathom what he'd be able to do if something were to happen to Liam in the water.
