Summary
The first epilogue to Expectations. Although you can understand this fic on its own, it might be a good idea to read that first.
Absalom Holmes has inherited John’s heart and Sherlock’s curiosity. Not the easiest combination of traits when it comes to dealing with big changes and the harder facts of life.
In which a couple of vignettes from Abby's toddlerhood culminates in a four year old being confronted with (and trying to make any sense of) two of the most major points on the circle of life.

Based of the picture by 4xontuesdays. Total inspiration from the first picture in the set. You guys won't not get to see the direct connection until later in the story, however ^^ But just stick with me, I have a plan of action!
