Summary
Professor!Loki. In which Loki is not quite a bad guy, just a mischief-making god and a good parent to his children, Jor, Fen, Hel, Nari and Vali. While deciding he's had enough to being used and manipulated by a higher 'power' Loki decides to take some "time-off" for the sake of his sanity and children. He chooses to hide as a "wizard" in plain sight, by becoming the DADA professor at Hogwarts. Eventually, Loki adopts Harry. Some eventual Dumbledore and S.H.E.I.L.D bashing. Set in first year for Harry and after the Avengers Movie for Loki, so ignore canon dates. This is very AU.

Avengerkink prompt:
"Sometime post-movie, Loki has teamed up with another villain and is happily (and quite effectively) wreaking havoc on the city. That is until one of his new ally's attacks nearly takes out a child (or group of children?). It could be that this triggers memories of losing his own kids or seeing them suffer, or it could just be that he's totally not ok with kids being part of the collateral damage. In any case, he either diverts the attack or shield's the child from it. And then proceeds to completely obliterate his no-longer-ally.
The Avengers get a look at Protective!Daddy!Loki, and learn that it is a truly terrifying thing.
For an interesting twist, I wouldn't mind reading something similar but with it being one of the Avengers who nearly hits the kid. Maybe the kid steps out into the line of fire or they just don't see him/her until it's too late. They have a moment of ice-cold horror when they realise what they've done before Loki swoops in and saves the day."

Jörmungand was a little harder. On the realm of Midgard, and stuck in a never-ending circle around the large, worthless sphere of dirt, Loki had only visited a handful of times.
But Fenrir was the hardest. Even with Fenrir being within such close proximity, Loki sees him less so than Hela and Jörmungand.
