Summary
Their feet and hands are alone pieces of art, fingers creaking while they move, as the paint dries, producing crusts of red and yellow and blue and green and orange. They are both breathing quickly, jumping, waving the brushes as the canvas is filled with hyperrealistic patterns of paint, which drips down and creates small lakes of color on the black and white newspapers, similar to the lakes of sweat on the curves of their throats. Music is playing on the radio and they dance in the air, they can fly like two extremely colorful birds whose vibrancy would even make Jehan raise an eyebrow. Enjolras, feeling totally free and relieved from the tension of his work, speeches and rallies, is the first one to shout. And after a while, they are both screaming their lungs out while throwing their bodies in the air, and the paint on the canvas. Their arms are already aching from the movement, but it’s complete salvation.

'What I Learned at SRU' is an Avatar: The Last Airbender & Legend of Korra-inspired modern day college series about friendship, romance, family...and growing up. It is NOT your stereotypical fluffy nonsense high-school stuff. It is NOT a re-telling of the series, it is an original plot with backstories and certain pieces heavily inspired by The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra story, but using them as springboards to explore different scenarios and modern events. It's a massive fanfiction/fanart (200+ arts and counting) project that could perhaps be best summarized as Avatar: TLA/LoK meets How I Met Your Mother in a college setting (though less comedy and perhaps more drama/friendship/feelings...?). It is a huge love letter and narrative reply to the Avatar series, exploring themes concerning young adulthood. As such, it is a bit too complicated to decide what the most fitting tags are.
