Summary
Sherlock is head over heels for John, but you wouldn't know it by looking at him. First-person present-tense series of short scenes from Sherlock's point of view, borrowing heavily from Arthur Conan Doyle's stories. This is the chaptered version. It exists separately because I really did think I was writing a series for the first several thousand words. But it turned into a chaptered fic, hence, a chaptered version for readability.

Notes
Sentinel/Guide, Jim and Blair, seen before - but someone has spent on good amount of time researching shamanistic rituals, especially from marriage, from an anthropologist's perspective and made that the fabric of Blair Sandburg's approach to life. I've seen anthropology as mostly a matter of curiousity in the past, but now this has been added to the list of things to sort into my own life. And did I mention that the intense romance and commitment between the two still rings true?

Summary
John is missing. When Sherlock receives a text summoning him to Silent Hill he's intent on reclaiming his friend but the town has other ideas. Our detective must battle through a world shaped by his own troubled psyche as he uncovers the town's secrets, attempts to find John and hunt down Jim Moriarty.
You don't have to be a fan of Silent Hill to enjoy this. If you like a good horror film or novel, you'll probably find something you like here. If you've ever wanted a peek inside Sherlock's head, this is for you too.
This is definitely one for the adults. It covers adult themes, violence to both monsters, adults and a child and many themes of psychological horror. Also, there is no guarantee that the main characters will survive to the end of the story (hence the character death warning but things aren't always as they seem). If you didn't think I could kill them off you wouldn't be so scared for them! Please take note of the warnings but then enjoy! Based on series one.

Summary
Sherlock understood the physical aspects of what was happening to his own body. He had understood them for years, just never had any interest in dealing with the urges. And by interest, I meant that he didn't know physically what to do with them.
