They have the instincts of all bearers, but they also have a tendency to act and think like their Alpha counterparts, including the instincts, though they don't have a knot, and only ever mate with Alphas. Jensen is one such Bearer, who has bested every Alpha who's ever tried to mate him. He would NEVER choose a mate who wasn't stronger than him and could "handle" and protect him and their pups. Jared is a true Alpha, raised with somewhat sexist beliefs regarding all Betas, Omegas, and Bearers. He's never met an Alpha Bearer and sneers at the idea.
