Summary
"This is a word we use to plug holes with."—Margaret Atwood
Familial, platonic, romantic, parental—Love has a thousand faces. Vignettes of Elissa Cousland; warrior, Warden, commander, and Hero of Ferelden, as seen through the eyes of those who love her, in no particular order. Same universe as "I Do Not Love You Except Because I Love You."

Summary
"I have always wanted adventure," Aileen told them, "but not like this. It was not supposed to happen this way. My parents were not supposed to die at the hands of a Howe." She spat the name like a curse. "And now, I'm going to kill the bastard no matter what it takes. Even if it consumes me." Strong head-canon, slight AU. Part I of my Aileenistair series. Currently rated T.

Summary
A re-imagining and expansion of the Human Noble background story in 'Origins', done as a character study of my m!Cousland warrior character.
Geoffrey Cousland may be the talented younger son of the highly respected Couslands of Highever, but with no prospects to further his ambitions of political advancement, he spends his spare time and energy on sexual conquests of the servants from chambermaids to scullery wenches and outsiders when possible.
It really was the best day ever: waking up with a girl in his bed, another assignation for the night, and his father leaving him the keys to the castle as he and Fergus marched off to battle the Blight.
Before it became the worst day ever.
(I realized that the timing of the origin story makes absolutely no sense, except to be able to compress about 4-5 hours of ‘real’ time into an hour or less of game time. Based on that, I used a great deal of license to tease the events of that day apart and embroider it with events of my own. Liberal use of game dialogue and situations are interwoven with original narrative.
For the noble goal of writing smut, of course.)
