Odin has sentenced Loki to a century on the Isle of Solitude, and Loki appears to have accepted his sentence.
Meanwhile, to mend relations with Earth, Thor has not only agreed to be debriefed by S.H.I.E.L.D., he has even invited S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Jasper Sitwell and, of course, Jane Foster and Darcy Lewis, to visit Asgard. Although Fury and the other mortals are traveling via the rebuilt Bifrost, Fury still wants his tech so they have come via a Stark-built spacejet.
However, the Chitauri create circumstances under which Jane and Darcy get a chance to actually talk to Loki -- and now that they've had half an hour with him they have a very different opinion of the God of Mischief. And Fury has agreed to visit Asgard because he has an agenda of his own....
