Neither knew it was possible to miss someone you never even met. But when they found each other, it was like they were reunited after being separated for too long. Like the pieces were in place again. The rapid pace at which their relationship escalated made people wonder if it could even be real or if it was something that would fade as quickly as it came. But they had found their other half, their person.
They were like reflections of each other, constantly mirroring the other. If one wanted something, the other wanted it. If one wanted to try something, do something, believe something, so did the other. The differences that separated them became blurred and eventually dissolved completely. They were no longer themselves unless the other was right along side them sharing the same thoughts and experiences. The trust they developed that allowed them to work like this was astonishing. How could two people who were seemingly so independent in the beginning become so irrevocably dependent on the others desires? It had to be that they were in love.
But love can turn into an obsession. And they would reach the very ends of that obsession to see how far they could go before someone, or something had to break.
