Summary
Ragnarok was always prophesied as an ending, a wiping of the balance sheet completely. But death never comes without life waiting to bloom in its wake. Change is never easy, entropy fights daily with the stillness of inertia. Ragnarok comes in waves at the crest of every great cycle, but this time something is desperately wrong. Without a catalyst to provide the energy, the reaction doesn't occur. Nothing changes and the worlds begin to wither and rot. No one ever likes change, but without it all will surely crumble. Can one human girl find the strength to embrace her nature and cure the sickness? It is, after all, a truly lonely path.

But neither Pepper or Natasha are willing to act as a surrogate and adoption agencies are denying them because of their “dangerous lifestyle” as superheroes. The solution? Take some genetic material from the both of them and grow a “test tube baby”. The problem? Super Soldier Serum and cyberpathic linkage are hereditary, causing the baby to grow at an extraordinarily fast pace and be born with the abilities of both her fathers combined. Nothing the Avengers can't handle, right? Sure, you go ahead and tell yourselves that.

When Thor went storming into Jotunheim he was looking to start a fight, but accidently winds up a pawn in Odin and Laufey's plans for a permanent peace between the realms; namely, in exchange for the return of the Casket of Ancient Winters, Laufey is offering his firstborn child Loki, the Aesir-sized sorcerer, in marriage to Thor. Such a momentous decision is not to be taken lightly, so Odin sends Thor to live on Jotunheim - without Mjolnir - for a season with Loki, to get to know his prospective consort and to teach the wilful prince some diplomatic sense. Thor is horrified, his parents are insistent and no-one really knows what Loki is thinking, but he hasn't stopped smiling...

Summary
Jotunheim has after centuries of isolation and tensions opened itself for peace talks with Asgard. Sigyn is sent as Ambassador for Asgard to the frozen realm to take part in the talks. The Jotuns will not prove to be as she expected, however, least of all the diminutive and elusive third prince.
Also known as: in which I write a story about a series of peace talks and then never actually mention what they discuss. Because with Loki around there are far more interesting matters to look at.

After Loki is brought back to Asgard for justice, he's somewhat appalled to find that his family still cares for him and worries about his well-being. Even worse, they have a cunning plan to keep him safe from Thanos and sort out the havoc he's been wreaking everywhere.
It works. And for one brief shining moment, Loki Is Happy.
Naturally, it all goes downhill from there.
