In a universe where SBURB never existed and humans and trolls are from different parts of the same universe, the rule of the Condesce has spread to earth. The Condesce's long rule and influence had kept kindness as something that should be limited to one’s two red quadrants. When it came to everyone else it was all self interest and indifference to suffering or even enjoyment of it.
