Summary
So Eduardo tore her heart apart and Mark tore Eduardo apart and now it is Mark and Christy here together, like two ends of a line coming together. Mark has learned that he can break a heart open and Christy has learned that her heart can be broken open and it was Eduardo taught them both these lessons.
She won't let Mark tear her apart, and she thinks that Mark is grateful for that.

A gambling den, a contested will, a mysterious encrypted letter, a hideous death-trap, and Nora (as usual) using way too many adjectives. It's Madelyn Mack, Detective, and Nora Noraker, plucky girl reporter. They fight crime!

Staying the night at Meemaw's house always means cereal for breakfast, even if it's not cereal day. Today is extra special because it's just Shelly and Meemaw. Erin Juarez is having a slumber party and all the girls in their class were invited, but Missy is just as happy that Shelly didn't want to go as Shelly is not to be going.

The one where The Blanket Is The Metaphor For Love.
... I can see why this one's a classic of the fandom. ... But even if you've never seen Numb3rs, it works well as a long, plotty fic with suspense (abduction, crime, and FBI procedural) elements, amnesia, fucked up relationships and self-image issues of many kinds, plus loyalty kink, h/c, and super-protective caretaker character goodness. Also adult sibling incest with consent concerns, and an eventual (circumstantially appropriate) happy ending.

Unusual werewolf fic with apocafic aspects. ... To me, the ending felt just right for the story, but it may leave some readers wishing there had been a sequel.

Modern hospital doctor/nurse AU
Read it as ofic for the sympathetic characterization (with a good amount of emotional depth and near-realistic imperfections) of two people thrown together who initially dislike each other, then learn not only to like each other but other things along the way.

... one of my favorite transgender stories, and one of my favorite kidfics due to its low saccharine content. ... Highly readable even for those with no knowledge of or interest in SGA fandom as a somewhat tartly refreshing love and "family is what you make it" story that offers moments of hilarity and doesn't shy away from people's imperfections.

An utterly self-indulgent fic. John's a rebellious figure skater who after twelve years of competition has one last shot. Rodney's the former World Champion, shattered by defeat (can't you just hear the Olympic theme song?) who can make it happen. But first....

long figure-skating Earth AU
... the characterizations will ping as familiar to those who know the canon, but very accessible for readers who don't know SGA but would like reading about two somewhat fucked-up, driven, possibly hard to get along with and sometimes self-destructive guys succeeding -- pretty much despite themselves -- in love and their skating goals.

... the story works well -- independent of familiarity with Supernatural RPF fandom-favorite characterization or relationships -- as a slightly fucked-up love and slow growing-up and admitting to what one really wants story in a bit of a homophobic setting.
And the writer's love for the sport shines through in a way that can make even sports-averse readers like me enjoy the American Football-related parts of the plot, especially armed with pianoforeplay's Supplemental Materials: Football 101, NFL Background, Fic Glossary post.
