Summary
Series of little one-shots and ficlets about the Avengers. There will be very little plot in these stories.
These have become rather Darcy-centric, because Darcy is a force to be reckoned with.
The title of the series comes from Rob Thomas' song "Little Wonders," which features a chorus that says "Our lives are made/In these small hours/These little wonders/These twists and turns of fate /Time falls away,/But these small hours/These small hours/Still remain."

Derek remembers the Red they had before the fire, Amelia. She was awful, condescending, and cruel. But he has no choice, he needs help. And this Red, sixteen and brilliant and absolutely silent - he is ten times better than Amelia.
Or the AU that isn't based off of another fic, but out of my own head, that is darkish and sadish and is going to be epic, you just wait and see. please.

"Damon Salvatore," His nurse scolded, "Just what do you think you're doing? Men, even young men, are to stay away from the birthing room."
Damon stuck out his bottom lip. "I just wanted to meet my new brother."
His nurse shook her head and ruffled Damon's thick, curly dark hair. "It might be a little sister," She reminded him, but Damon scrunched up his nose.
"But I want a brother," He said stubbornly, "Someone who'll play with me and ride horses and to chase Mr. Gilbert's daughter when she's mean to me."
Damon's nurse smiled, her lips tugging up in the corners. "Well, I'll have you know that girls can be just as much fun, Damon Salvatore. Besides, you could be her White Knight."
"White Knight?"
"Her Knight in shining armor – someone to protect her. And I bet she'd help to with Mr. Gilbert's daughter when she trips you on the walk to church," She explained.
Damon's small face was thoughtful. Reluctantly, he said, "I . . . guess a little sister wouldn't be so bad."
"I thought you'd come 'round," His nurse said, hiding another smile.

For a prompt at a LiveJournal community st_xi_kink_meme. Promt was: "Somehow, Reaper (who wasn't McCoy at the time) helps ends Tarsus IV and he meets a young Jim Kirk. He feels the need to protect the kid and he personally takes a sickly Kirk back to Earth, where he leaves him with Pike. Years later, Kirk and McCoy meet on that shuttle, because Pike called Reaper!McCoy and told him Kirk was joining Star Fleet and could use a friend. From the start, Kirk thinks there's something familiar about McCoy, but it's not until post events of the movie that the truth comes out. Happy ending for the boys."
I AU'd Tarsus IV to suit me and the medical stuff is completely wrong, but served my purposes. Deal with it.
