This is the first story (so far) in a loosely tied together series that mostly explores Susan and Delenn's friendship and partnership after John Sheridan's death, encompassing the second Minbari Civil War and up to and including Delenn's death and the third coming of Valen.
Here we learn about the Falmin'shan and Delenn's experiences there. She meets Nashon (a recurring OFC in the series) and Neroon. Both relationships will play a role in later stories.
There is also a good deal about Minbari biology which tends to tilt this from porn to textbook.
