LET'S GET TYPICAL because I have a secret kink for high school drama AUs.
The usual cliche, Loki's unpopular and disliked for being thin and odd and tricky, but he's intelligent and sweet to babies and children and such (we can even put in his most 'embarrassing' secret as wanting to have kids or something) and Thor is the jock who probably screws him over royally before realizing how huge of a jerk he's being (either without meaning it or regretting it) and going through very teenager-y lengths to make Loki feel better and to get the guy to forgive him.
MAKE IT CLICHE. INCLUDE SCHOOL DANCES AND BULLYING AND THE USUAL DRAMA, PUT IN AS MANY OTHER MARVEL CHARACTERS AS YOU WANT, JUST PLEASE <3

Summary
The War between Jotunheim and Asgard didn't go as predicted and Odin was killed. Laufey offers peace if Frigga hands over her only daughter, Thora as the spoils of war, when she comes of age.
Frigga agrees and Asgard is spared. Thora knows that it is her good behaviour in Jotunheim that will ensure Asgard's safety. She will endure, but she won't break.
Loki Laufeysson, the Crown Prince of Jotunheim, is only interested in gaining Asgard and somehow falls upon the idea that maybe having Thora Odinsdottir around will be the means to do it.

So Yggdrasil's divided into regions and at first the werewolves are like "Argh human I wanna eat choo!" But then later they start to get along sorta kinda because shit hits the fan and someone important dies and it all falls to new leadership and whatevs.
So then Midgard, where all the humans live, is ruled by the Starks, which is badass and then Njord and Odin rule the other places and everything is candy and rainbows and Sam's ass.
And then of course there's the whole "mating" crap and shit hits the fan again when Thor, the special child, develops a huge man crush on the Jotun Alpha's baby and no one is happy about this and yeah so read it okay?
