This is a fairly long case fic tinged with slowly developing johnlock and actual character growth and development. I decided to write it because I thought Mycroft needed a girlfriend, and I wanted to vomit forth some of my headcanon about who he is and what he does. So this is a story about Mycroft Holmes, told from the point of view of Sherlock and John. It is a story about making mistakes and forgiving the people who make them. And last but certainly not least, it is a cyberpunk-lite spy story, because that's how I roll.

Captian John Watson, also known as the Crack shot Assassin, remembers the first day he met Mycroft Holmes. He had been on a mission, chasing after a low profile rookie agent who had spilled government secrets, when he slammed into Mycroft Holmes knocking them both down onto the wet streets of London. He wasn’t sure if it was his love of expensive cigars, a smell he was sure he could pinpoint on Mycrofts expensive suit, or the raised eyebrow paired with a smirk of a man who merely pressed a gun into John’s hip unafraid and poised to fight. John never asked why Mycroft had a gun on his person, it never occurred to him that it might be more than a safety precaution, possibly a job requirement.
