I'd like to see a fill based on this recent quote by Rupert Young, Sir Leon's alter ego:
“Because Merlin’s been around and he’s always at Arthur’s side, as has Leon in many ways, they have grown to like each other,” Young explained. “However, there’s always that status. I’m always going to have a slightly higher status than Merlin. So we all — I think my character and all the knights — will kind of joke with him. We have a laugh with Merlin, but there’s always a line, in the same way, but not as much, as Arthur and Merlin. There’s that respect there, but Merlin always knows his place and we’ve always got to remember that he’ll be our friend, but when he needs to be, he is still a servant.”
To me, it has always seemed this way, that Leon considers himself Merlin's "better". It isn't that he doesn't like Merlin; he just believes that there are others born to greater things than peasants.

Apart from the fines, his community service/punishment from Uther is to work for a charity for people with spinal cord injuries. That's where he meets Merlin, a young man of his own age. Merlin is the most wonderful and annoying person Arthur has ever met. Merlin is also paralysed from the waist down after having been hit by a drunk driver.

He didn't remember all that had passed between him and the giant reptile, but the memorable exchange was still burnt into his thoughts over a dozen years later. Trembling and worried as only a child could be, he'd asked 'will anyone ever love me?'
The dragon had chuckled deep in its belly and stretched, resting its head on a claw - as close to the prince as he could get without leaving the large rock formation. 'Young prince, you are but one side of a coin. Rest assured that all you desire shall be granted in your other half.'
