2 Works in Morgan's Boy
by Judith Proctor
The tune is Shanagolden, also used for 'I Gave My Love a Cherry'.
Avon wakes in Wales in 1984 with no memory of how he came to be there. His only clue is the man who found him, a poorly-educated Welsh hill farmer called Morgan. Morgan bears an uncanny resemblence to Blake, but claims to have no knowledge of the man. As Avon learns to cope with everything from DHSS benefit forms to the existence of motor cars, he and Morgan struggle to understand one another. Both are loners by nature and both have been scarred by their respective pasts. Until Avon can discover how he came to be here in the first place, he cannot find out how to return home. Although this is a crossover with the BBC drama series Morgan's Boy, it is written for people who have never seen the series and have no knowlege of it.
