Summary
For the prompt: Spock has never understood Valentine's Day and never been a participant (receiving cards from besotted students doesn't count). As a rational exercise, Jim offers to show him how it works and in the process secretly woos Spock. By the end of the day, with all the little things Kirk has said and done, Spock is very receptive...

Notes
Highly rec'd...An excellent, introspective and perhaps a bit haunting character study and a first time story from Kirk's POV. And Kirk's voice is completely dead on. Probably has one of the best TOS!Kirk voice's I've ever read.

Summary
Based on the switched version of the prompt: A de-aged fic where Spock has to take care of a kid-Kirk; preferably Kirk only listens to Spock, and freaks out when he's not around. (Or, you know, switched). Written for the st_xi_kink meme.

The life and times of Leonard H. McCoy MD/PhD … If Leonard McCoy's life could get any fucking weirder, it would be … Jesus, he didn't even want to think what that could possibly mean, because it's already been too fucking weird to make any kind of rational sense. A Starfleet Academy story, set in the ST:XI universe.

Summary
Since I did a pregnant Spock, it only seems fair that Jim get equal time. This is an answer to KrazieKat2009's Baby Maker challenge, which goes like this:
Summary: Features preggers!Kirk. I would like for Spock to still be in a relationship with Uhura at start of story. And Jim has secretly been in love with his First Officer for the past year. No one knows of his attraction to Spock, not even Bones. (Though he can be suspicious if you want). During a scout out on a once technologically advanced planet, Spock and Kirk stumble across an old, left behind piece of technology. The technology feeds off of emotional energy to create new life; it senses Jim's utmost desires to be with Spock, and so it activates and causes Jim to be impregnated, with Spock as his child's DNA "donor". Neither Jim or Spock are aware that Jim has been impregnated at first, but soon they become aware. Another side effect of the machine is that it causes the pregnant person to become more dependent on the one s/he has feelings for, so Jim's attraction magnifies, and it takes all he can not to let Spock find out.

I really liked this, especially the fact that Spock didn't drop everything when he found out (due to the wonders of MPREG) that Kirk was pregnant with his child and wanted to stay true to his relationship with Uhura. I also like, though I try to avoid drama, that it made me uncomfortable with the drama between characters.

This is exactly the reason why I can no longer say I don't particularly like genderswap. The Jim (Jane) Kirk in this is fantastic, and just as I would imagine the character would be as a female. Not to mention that everyone else is written well. And there's a Sam. With an Aurie. Read it, mkay?
