Summary
It’s the fall of 2000, and to help him out after his military career has ended due to injury, John Watson’s sister Harriet gets him a job as US tour manager for rising star of the industrial scene and enfant terrible, Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock’s not long out of rehab and there are plenty of doubts as to whether he’s serious about recovery. Plus, the music industry is shaking in its boots over the Napster mess. All John has to do is keep the money coming in and make sure his star doesn't screw things up. After the army, that should be easy, right?

Summary
“It doesn’t bother you at all, does it. What he is,” Lestrade remarks one day at a crime scene.
“Mutants are over-represented in the military,” says John. “It’s about the only halfway decent job they can get, even if they’re never allowed to move up the ranks.”
He has to push down a stab of irritation and remind himself that getting angry at every person who sees Sherlock as something less than human would be a waste of time.

Summary
Nothing about life without Sherlock Holmes makes much sense to John anyway. At least hunting the things that go bump in the night gives him a sense of purpose again.
Crossover with Supernatural (TV series) is minor, though brief cameo appearances by Dean, Sam, and Castiel in chapter 13.

Summary
John and Sherlock aren't flatmates. Instead, John gets a job in Bart's morgue, and Sherlock attempts to abscond with body parts.
Which is just not on.
BAMF!John. Lots of male fighting. Hate sex. Cuddly love probably, too.

Summary
But those four words, oh, Sherlock savours them, pronouncing each syllable with the utmost care, practically purrs them in a voice that is seductive and sly and gleeful. It's a voice that John hears in his nightmares, because it usually precedes a shitstorm.
(Wherein Sherlock reduces the Met to a seething pool of rage, John thinks it's all childish, and Mycroft is the real star.)
