Summary
A clandestine trip to Skyrim to learn about her mother's kin and create a family of her own lands Brynhilde in a situation she never asked for, forcing her into a life not of her choosing. The Nords around her seem to think she should be happy about what she has become and gladly accept her glorious fate, when all she ever wanted was a big blond Nord husband and rosy-cheeked Nord babies and a quiet life in a little village. Can she learn to live with the hand she's been dealt and guide her own destiny, or will it break her?
First fanfic I've attempted, so comments and constructive criticisms welcome. I play Skyrim with a number of mods, so if something is different from the vanilla game that's probably why (other than dramatic license). Follows the Companions story line and Main Quest while trying to avoid the Civil War entirely, touches on the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLCs then veers off into uncharted territory. Will update frequently as I've written this fairly far out ahead.

Summary
Rel is an adventurous altmer mage, raiding ancient crypts while hiding her own dark secrets, and has always taken her role as the Dovahkiin a little too casually. But when a supernatural force threatens to destroy her world, she learns that there are actually multiple versions of Skyrim spread across the mortal plain of Nirn, and that in order to prevent total destruction, she must travel to these other realms. Now Rel - along with two other dragonborn she meets in alternate versions of Skyrim - face an unexpected enemy, impossible odds, and total annilation. No different than usual, right? How hard could this be?

Summary
"Good mornin', silly!" said the beggar, cheerfully. "Or is it? Is it a good mornin'? Is it evenin'? Is it bad? It's quite a philosophical question, isn't it? Like how many roads must a man walk down? Or would ye like some cheese?
