Iruka doesn't remember Orochimaru kidnapping him. He doesn't remember being tortured. He doesn't remember being experimented on.
Life after being rescued is a strange, new thing. He's grateful to have Kakashi by his side, but Kakashi can't always be there to soothe away the nightmares or the horrible dread that soon everything's going to come crashing down on him. When it does, it's hardly what Iruka expects. He thought Orochimaru planned to use him against the village but instead Iruka is being used to get Kakashi's heir - the heir that's growing inside Iruka's body.
