When Tony Stark invited his fellow team mates to take out a floor each in his tower, he was not expecting Steve Rogers to bring home a wet and bedraggled kitten. Or to find Clint Barton regularly on his roof in only a blanket, or to strike up a drinking partnership with Loki because no one else is intelligent enough to keep up with either of them. Somehow he's still surprised when Natasha tries to teach the kitten ninja moves.
He's even more surprised when Steve keeps bringing up old scars. A man so lost in time isn't supposed to remind Tony about all the things he'd rather forget, let alone encourage Tony to fall in love with him.

“Well, yeah, why?” Darcy asked and looked up from the hem she was tacking together on the Iron Woman’s gown.
“Ronnie got black out drunk after her boyfriend broke up with her and crashed that crappy little car of hers. She’s okay but ended up at City Hospital getting her stomach pumped, ten stitches to her face, and has a broken ankle. There’s no way she’s going on tonight or anytime soon. So you’re on tonight chick,” Miss Penelope said with a small smirk and a pat on Darcy’s head.
