Before Harvey can concoct some sort of excuse to stop the great sleepover of 2014, the power blinks out. The city is dark outside the floor to ceiling windows. Harvey curses.
“Oh, sweet,” Stiles says, “Now there won’t be any glare on the screen. Who wants to play xbox?”
“The power went out, Stiles,” Harvey gets out, not at all trying to keep the patronizing tone out of his voice.
“Right, I got that.”
“So that means no video games,” Harvey says even slower.
Derek is the only one that can make out Stiles’ heartbroken face in the darkness, but they all hear his dramatic groan as he falls, half across Derek’s lap and half off the couch. “This is going to be the worst night ever.”Series
