Summary
Merlin is definitely supposed to work for Arthur, but spends most of his time mocking Arthur's dress sense, berating him via IM with Morgana, sending Gwen capslock-filled emails about him and, most of all, trying not to fall in love with the shiny-shoed ponce. Arthur, meanwhile, is definitely supposed to be taking over his father's company some day, but instead spends most of his time scowling at Merlin, making lists about him, trying to find excuses to fire him and, most of all, trying to pretend he is totally not head-over-heels for the jumped up little upstart. Someone's got to make some difficult choices eventually, and this can only lead to one thing: angst. Or hilarity. Or, embarrassingly enough, self-discovery.

Summary
Uther Pendragon is the King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. His son is Arthur Pendragon Prince of Wales. Merlin Emrys a young sorcerer living in the tiny village of Ealdor in Wales. The world of magic has been a secret for the past eight hundred years ever since the Arcana Magicam agreement. So Merlin is rather surprised one day when Arthur stumbles upon him performing magic in the woods and asks “Are you a wizard?” like it’s a perfectly everyday question. The two boys become fast friends after Merlin dazzles Arthur with his magic.
However as they grow up in their very different worlds things begin to change in Britain, the king is no longer satisfied with his secret campaign against magic users and with the help of the new prime minister Aeridian Black another enemy of sorcerers new laws come into place which will make life very difficult for Merlin and his kind.Bookmarked by Stiles_is_a_cutie

Summary
Hunith has been Arthur’s nanny since he was born. She helped Uther raise him and stopped Uther from becoming cold and closed off after Ygraine died, instead he is a kind and caring father. When Arthur is three Hunith falls pregnant, and she has Merlin. Arthur and Merlin get along brilliantly after an initial hiccup, but as Merlin gets older the notice he’s different from the other children. He’s quiet, withdrawn and avoids touching, but Arthur doesn't care, Merlin is his best friend no matter what the doctors and adults say.
