Summary
The marriage of Natasha Stark and Steve Rogers avoided the Civil War, but it goes way further back than that. It was the first time Steve met Tasha, the come and goes between then, the fact that even though the things Steve loved about her were pretty much the same - the genius, the stubbornness, the heart of golden under a pile of emotional barrier - Natasha Stark isn’t Anthony Stark.
Cause that one extra X chromosome matters.
(A character study of sorts. I wanted to explore all that went different for Tasha because she was born a woman. Completed already I just have to get around to posting it!)

Summary
Roughly a year after the events at the Stark Expo, Pepper's "stable-ish" relationship with Tony has deteriorated into more —ish than stable. Tony has been keeping secrets, and he's brought home a mystery blond who occupies all his time—including the time he should have been using for work. While holding things together, Pepper finds herself getting much, much closer to Natalie. But Natalie may be hiding a few secrets of her own.

Summary
After the radioactive wars, citizens live in cities walled off and covered by a shield to prevent radiation from coming into the city. For most of his life, Steve Rogers has lived in New York City, but when his best friend needs an expensive piece of medical equipment, Steve helps pay for it and looks for a job in a smaller city where rent and expenses would be less.
He finds a small city in Catskill, and is greeted by a small enough population that everyone knew everyone else’s business. It’s slightly startling and strange – especially when his coworkers try, on his first day at work, to set him up with Tony Stark.
Tony Stark, who is a member of the aristocracy, has been hiding away from the world, dealing with kids and giving his patronage to this small town so long as he doesn’t need to interact with the rest of the world. No one knows what happened to him during his kidnapping and he isn’t about to tell anyone. But when a former flame sends Steve Rogers to his door, he’s captivated – and he pursues Steve, even when it becomes clear that there is a specter haunting Steve’s past. Tony’s determined to show Steve that it’s alright to trust again, and in turn helps himself on the path back into the world.

"It's so easy to hurt you," says Tony, his tone warm and rich with affection. "It never even seems like a bad thing," and then he drags two fingers over Steve's bruises. Steve gives a shiver, “You make it easy to be hurt,” and it’s so good, being cuddled into Tony’s side. “I…I love it when you break me,” Steve says, voice trembling. He must have said the right thing, because suddenly Tony’s all over him, pressing kisses to his face, licking stinging wounds and scratching new ones in.
There’ll never be anything better than this, Steve thinks, just before his eyes close.
