An excellent - and frequently bleak and depressing - Snape/Hermione novel. It's lovely, but it's very gritty. It's in the theme of "Marriage Law" fic, but it's not actually a response to that challenge, and it shouldn't be filed with them: it's not escapist in the way that most of those are.
