Werewolves were an occupational hazard, one that Stiles had begrudgingly accepted into his life, because who was he kidding? Scott wouldn't last five minutes in a world without Stiles. And because Scott had dragged him into the wonderful world of lycanthropy (even though to be fair it was Stiles and Dell who had dragged him into the woods on that fateful night) Stiles had also accepted the fact that, because of said occupational hazard, it was likely that he could very well die before he reached legal adulthood.
He hadn't quite expected it to end like this though.
