Story Summary: –Martouf and Lantash are taken to the Tunnels after the za’tarc incident. Sam suspects that something isn’t right within the Council. She believes that certain factions among them will force Lantash to leave Martouf, and allow Martouf to die. She realizes that she needs to be there for them, because as their mate through Jolinar, only she has the right to decide whether or not to allow Lantash and the healers to heal Martouf. Sam defends them and ‘officially’ becomes their ‘bond-mate. Sam, Martouf, and Lantash grow close as they spend time together. Information and events come to light, and the Tok'Ra and the Tau'ri come to a better understanding of one another.
Story Rating: NC-17 – there is a section of somewhat graphic sexual content in the last chapter, but it is not what I would call "highly graphic". The remainder of the story is PG-14

Story Eleven Summary: Jacob and Per'sus join Martouf/Lantash, Malek/Devlin, and Daniel to discuss recent events and to make some decisions on the daily running of the base both during this crisis and after things have calmed down. Sam seems to be reaching another level in her healing and is doing much better. Once their visitors leave, Martouf and Lantash stay up in case she needs them, even though her fever appears to be fairly steady. When she wakes and finds them awake and near her, her need for them and them alone leads to some private time for them.

Story Summary: Sam is no longer recovering and, in fact, she is desperately ill. It appears to be from the same source as before, and this time there is no doubt that it was done deliberately. Nor is it the first time someone has attempted to kill her. Malek pressures Sam to tell him her suspicions about her poisonings. When she finally does, she finds out that Malek also suspects Delek of being involved, with not only the poisoning, but with the N.I.D. and the takeover of the SGC. More information about the raid on the SGC is revealed as they discuss what is being done to find the people behind the takeover. She is much more ill this time, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for Malek and Devlin to continue to make-love to her. Martouf/Lantash and the Keeper are still absent.

Sam tells him that she agreed to take him as her second mate and he and Devlin bind themselves to her. Malek goes for the healer and the two of them return to Sam’s room where she is worsening rapidly. The healer discovers what is making her ill and it is not a virus, but something that may be much more sinister.
