Notes: For siehn on livejournal, who inspired this with her five acts round six prompt. This story is loosely based off of beauty and the beast with nods to various fairy tales. The title is a line from the poem “Ode to a Nightingale” by John Keats. This will have 7-8 parts.

Summary
For unknown reasons, Thor was unable to use the Tesseract to return him and Loki to Asgard. With the brothers trapped on Earth, the Avengers must find a place to hide Loki while they try to investigate how to return him and Thor to Asgard.
As they work, Thor tries to get through to brother, to discover what happened to him after he fell from Asgard, and he might not like what he finds.
