Summary
So I have a prompt list. Several actually. And every day I write a short story based off my prompt word/phrase of the day.
All of them are Silmarillion-related (dips into The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings here and there).
Expect everything ranging from utterly cliche romance to mildly explicit gore and horror. No one ever said Arda was a nice place.
But do note that I won't be posting any smut here. Prompts are meaningful snapshots, and unless the sex is really important, I'll be skipping it to get to the point.

And in one archive host them."Them" refers to those of my "works" that are too short or too ridiculous (even by my standards) to warrant a fic of their own. So, drabbles, vignettes, puzzles, maybe some "poetry".

Summary
They had been damned for their pride.
Damned for their passions.
Damned by the Valar and by Morgoth Bauglir.
Hated and envied by both.
~~~
Reborn into an older world and freedom, they had discovered that the jealousy of Gods does not fade, and that damnation has an agelong reach.
~~~
Young Túrin grows in Imladris, while in dark Angmar, the Mouth of Sauron feeds his ambitions with unspeakable acts. Coldagnir the Balrog begins to learn what freedom is, in New Cuiviénen, the Noldor's pride and passions battle for supremacy.
~~~Every inner eye in the encampment was bent on the drama unfolding to the south, but Fëanor's mind seemed to focus all of them like a lens. There was no sound. This was the center. Fëanor's eyes were blank and blazing with impossible, unearthly light.
Summary
The city of Gondolin is at peace, and yet several of its citizens harbour resentments, ambitions, and unnatural desires: Maeglin longs to assume his rightful position as Turgon's heir and Idril's spouse; Salgant hopes to avenge himself for past humiliations; and Ecthelion and Glorfindel indulge in deception even as they devote their lives to duty.
Many secrets will be revealed, but only slowly and with much confusion, in this comedy of misunderstandings.
Summary
When I was working on the longer Ecthelion/Glorfindel stories, my brain would, every so often, boil over and dump out a vignette or two.
Now, I am dropping them all over here.
Most are (meant to be) humour, although Alqualonde Days -- which is a whole, self-indulgent story, actually -- is not.
I doubt many of them make sense outside the context of this series.
