Summary
Missing scenes between the final battle with the Seal People and the return of the eagle (because there was a lot that must have happened off screen.) Also, I couldn't help but notice Esca was injured in that final battle.
New to both this fandom and archive, but it looks like a great place to hang out!

Summary
When Marcus Flavius Aquila arrived at Isca Dumnoniorum to take command, there was an auxiliary troop of Dacian light cavalry already at the fort, led by Lutorius, who was 'reserved to the point of sullenness with all men' until the tribal revolt where Marcus was injured, and Lutorius was killed. I wondered why Lutorius was so grumpy, and how Marcus dealt with that.

Summary
In which Marcus is a historical novelist and almost all the characters are Roman-British historical reenactors; a romance in emails and bickering over historical details, with guest appearances by EVERYONE. (Rating is for a few slightly dirty text exchanges, nothing explicit.)
