I was addicted to reading this on ff.net back in the good old days. The author *really* did her research into Chinese history to accurately portray Wufei in an au setting of his cultural heritage. Her mentions of her research inspired me to research heavily into fics as well. Seriously, though, this is one of those weekend stories that you enjoy throughout the weekend with a cup of hot chocolate, a blanket and the phone off the hook.
