Summary
Mary Shelley recounts to a friend the events of the summer of 1816, spent near Lake Geneva with her husband and Lord Byron - and Lady Darla and her husband. In our world Byron and Polidori effectively invented the modern vampire story while Mary was writing the first draft of Frankenstein.
