Summary
Loki never asked his mother for a new life, to move to America, to start at a new school, or for a step-brother. He certainly didn't ask for said step-brother to be built like the Norse god he's named for, and he didn't ask for his body to react anytime said step-brother touched him. Well, it doesn't matter that Loki didn't ask for any of it because that is his new life, and he better learn to deal with it.
SHIELD Academy is one of the top schools in the nation, but the students are even more colorful. Loki makes "friends"—using that term flexibly—fast, and that's all great except for he's falling faster.
Loki hates people, has always hated people, for a reason. It looks like those reasons are his life now.

Summary
Post Avengers: As punishment for Loki's crimes, Odin seals his magic and banishes him to Midgard. There, he renews an old acquaintanceship. He makes alliance with someone who's talent for creative plotting and devious revenge is almost as good as his (Better, Doom says). The first step will be to break Odin's seal and return Loki's magic powers to him. The second step... Well all the world awaits, does it not?
Unfortunately, Loki is unfamiliar with Midgardian tech. His attempt to break the seal in Doom's laboratory malfunctions, with disturbing results.

Summary
The world needs more Loki/Doom stories... Yeah, I got about seven chapters into this story, when I realized it wasn't going where it needed to go. I have a dear friend and co-writer who doesn't post stories until she is quite sure she isn't going to re-think them halfway through. She is also way more self-directed than I am. But now after reading most of the Cabal arc and a big chunk of the lead-up to Siege (and watching more old animated Fantastic Four than I care to admit), I finally feel I can do justice to this story. I am taking it off hiatus, and should be making good progress forthwith.

Who will hold your hand,
When it pulls you under?
Loki wishes he could rise from his own ashes, transcend his limitations and his suffering the way that Victor does.
Doom would not find Loki so captivating if he was not all genius and madman, a thousand things at once. -

Summary
Loki stops where he feels the power of old magic coming from a tattered scroll thrown open on the floor of the library from the blast. He bends down to retrieve it just as the Avengers are walking in... They demand that he turn himself in, blah, blah, blah. He rolls his eyes and calmly starts to read the runes but it is horrifying…
A story with Loki, wide brim hats, and hopelessly turned on mortals. Too bad the big guy with the hammer is always around.

Summary
Patience was something all gods had, by their very nature, in abundance. Nigh immortality required deep reserves of it, and even the most foolhardy among them could easily wait -- patiently -- for a hundred years.

Summary
It could be said that when aspiring superheroes-to-be are dropping like flies right and left, Loki picked a really horrible time to be captured.
Or
How the God of Mischief, regardless of his actions, may never quite escape the expectations that come with his name.
