Summary
Bruce and the Avengers have been living at Stark Tower since New York and the hiring of a new assistant with some interesting abilities stirs the group up. Though Fury promises Holly is nothing more than a tool to make life easier, the Avengers are none too trusting to this seemingly innocent girl. Having no knowledge about her new friends other than their names, can a budding relationship with Bruce survive her discovery of the other guy, the appearance of her sisters Harley and Helena, and a dark past come back to haunt her? Is it really that bad to ask for at least a semi-normal life? Just do some missions that save some people and whatnot, with the occasional downtime of a normal human. Is that too much to ask for?
Agent Ivona Page is a telepath that has been working with SHIELD for several years. It's just her luck that she's on duty at the sight of Project: P.E.G.A.S.U.S. when the war-criminal Loki pops out of a portal from space. It's just her luck that Loki not only takes control of her coworker Clint, but also her.
"And you, my dear, have gift of the mind," he said. "You shall be of use," he said.
When she was offered a job at SHIELD, she knew it would be dangerous. But she didn't sign up for this. To suddenly be the obsession of this maniac so-called god, 'king', that all he did was oppress her and use her.
And she certainly didn't sign up to be his 'queen'.
This was so not part of the contract.
