David and Leo have a massive fight. A few days later, at the Ballon d'Or ceremony, David sees Cristiano and decides to flirt with him as a petty form of revenge. He discovers that Cristiano is not the ogre he always thought of him as, and then when Leo comes and Cristiano starts shamelessly flirting with David...
David fights the urge to a) bang his head repeatedly on the table, b) grab Cristiano, shake him and ask him what he thinks he’s doing, and c) take Leo’s arm and just run until he leaves everything, all the drama and tension and the half-smile in Cristiano’s eyes, behind.
