It's still too much to ask Sam to just go, without the bitching and moaning about Dad and following orders and a million other things that Dean tunes out, but at least this time Sam's only muttering under his breath while he checks out the coordinates, habit more than anything, and even that stops when the location pops up. He lunges for the journal like he knows what he's going to find, and when he looks up, Dean's rolling to his feet before Sam can say a word.

Summary
Takes place after the episode Dead End in Season Two. Lindsey McDonald was supposed to have left LA after destroying Wolfram & Hart’s body parts lab, but Angel finds him a few weeks later in a demon’s lair. Convinced that the evil law firm is still after Lindsey, Angel takes him back to the hotel while they figure out what to do. But Lindsey isn’t recovering, and Cordelia’s still pissed at Angel for firing them, and Wesley’s constantly pissed at Angel for usurping his authority. Maybe all they need is to relearn some trust.

Notes
What I really like about this story is that the anger is absent. A rarity for this pairing and one I like, Angel's not a dickhead and Lindsey's not an obstreperous ball of sarcasm; in other words, a story where they start out all grown up. A bit of a bittersweet ending, but that is where you come in dear reader.

Summary
Eigentlich hätte Lindsey - wieder einmal - sterben sollen. Doch er hat überlebt. Vorerst.
Angel ist darüber alles andere als begeistert und macht dem ehemaligen Anwalt das Leben zur Hölle, ganz egal wie sehr dieser auch versucht, sein Vertrauen zu gewinnen und wie oft er auch beteuert, dass er ganz gewiss nicht zu Wolfram und Hart zurück will.
Der Vampir legt sich einen Plan zurecht, was er mit Lindsey anfangen könnte. Doch Angel ist nicht der Einzige, der Pläne mit dem jungen Mann hat und früher oder später muss der Vampir erkennen, dass sein Feindbild vielleicht doch nicht mehr stimmt.
Natürlich hätte er sich nie träumen lassen, dass er den Kerl womöglich gern haben könnte. Doch das Leben hält noch einige Überraschungen bereit, sogar für einen Untoten ...Last bookmarked by testy
