Summary
A collection of my Sherlock ficlets. Summary
Sherlock’s strop ends abruptly as the vial he’s been holding flies out of his hand and shatters on the ground. A million tiny crystals and an iridescent liquid spread out in an oval shape along the tiled floor.
“Oh dear god, no,” Sherlock says. He backs away, even as Lestrade and John instinctively move toward the mess. “No, John, back away and cover your mouth. It’s highly toxic.”

Summary
John Watson wasn't the sort of man who found mingling at parties easy or enjoyable. He was a soldier, first and foremost, and a doctor beyond that. Civilian life had never suited him, not really. The only times John truly felt alive and whole, as though he were completely in his element, were the times when he was wrist-deep in someone else's blood with bullets whizzing overhead and soldiers shouting in the background.
And he had single-handedly assured that he would never feel like that again.

One shot was all it took to end the civil war that tore England apart under the rule of the Holmes empire. One shot, delivered from John's rifle, and everything changed. But while John was expecting a life of boredom and fancy parties, what he got was an improbable friendship with a slightly mad prince, a tour of London's underbelly, the familiarity of being shot at almost constantly, and a good deal of intrigue.(Alternating POV.)

"Tell me you're mine," I breathe. There are footsteps on the stairwell now, quick at first but slowing as they climb higher. The sounds we're making are unmistakable, I'm sure, but I trust Lestrade's curiosity will bring him close enough to hear John say it. "Tell me, John." I bite at his throat, drawing a low, loud moan from his lips. "Say it."
