When Girolamo Riaro, Papal Nephew to Pope Sixtus IV, arrives in Florence on severe papal buisness, he doesn't expect to fall in love with Donata de Denarte-Medici, Lorenzo de Medici's illegitamate daughter. As he unravells her story, Donata begins to fall in love with Riario too. When they both get drunk one night, they confess their lust for each other in Donata's rooms behind the tavern where she works. Over the next few weeks, their lust grows and quickly consumes them with love for each other. They stood there, glaring and smiling at the same time. Riario broke the pause; with a quick flick of his wrist he cut a two-inch nick in Leo's collarbone. The smaller growled as he felt the sting and a crimson drop, matching the dark in his eyes, rolled down his pale skin to his navy top.
Riario smirked, then bared his teeth as he felt Leo draw his blade along his neck, opening a similar cut over his corded tendons. He tilted his knife away and Leo did the same. Then the blackhaired leaned forward, pulling Leo closer against him, and licked at the small cut, tasting the copper tang of his nemesis' blood.
