Summary
A prequel to the film. Mathieu visits the pool late in the evenings, unwraps a towel from his waist and swims with muscular, inefficient strokes. Through the camera lens he shows as a seal: slick skin and splashes that break down in photographs to component parts -- shoulder, hand, bicep -- drenched and moving.
