MY FIC. This is just magnificent, a wonderful peek into the post-canon relationship between Edmond and Haydée, and a glimpse at the larger consequences of Edmond's actions, illustrated through Eugénie Danglars and Louise d'Armilly. The style is perfect, lush and full of allusion, and it slots beautifully into canon.
