Summary
There have been ten kidnappings and five murders over the last year, three undercover operations have provided no information although there have been murders within days of the end of the operation.
When you decide you cannot trust the people you are working with what options do you have. If you are DI Greg Lestrade the answer is simple, find yourself a minor Government official, a consulting detective and a doctor, call Oxfordshire police to borrow a DI and a DS and set about your own investigation.
What could possibly go wrong?

Its the end of a long, hard case - Lewis hasn't been home in days and he is thoroughly looking forward to leaving the station, having a pint with Hathaway and then going home to sleep for the foreseeable future.
Procedure, however, has other ideas, and they find themselves locked in over night in order to practice "lockdown procedure" - the guests from Scotland Yard included. However will any of them survive the night.Heart to hearts are had, but still not with Hathaway, Lestrade makes a friend, and Hathaway gets some sleep...
