Summary
Werewolves (led by the Argents) have taken control of the United States, oppressing humans as they were once oppressed. There is a prophecy of a boy fated to lead the humans against the werewolves and topple the Argents' regime. Andrei Hale, alpha of the Hale pack, is tasked with finding this boy and bringing him to the Queen to ensure he is stopped before ever having a chance to fan the flames of revolution.

the one where derek moves back to beacon hills because new york is loud and he wants to go home and honestly he just needs to SLEEP for like ten years and his family thinks he is an actual depressive and that gets old really goddam fast so he sleeps in the old train station ONE TIME and then, like, bang, gets picked up for vagrancy (and like who knew that was still a thing, not DEREK, okay, thats who didnt know or he wouldve just gotten a hotel room, jesus christ), and the sheriffs kid brings him overpriced notcoffee every time derek serves his community service down at the sheriffs department until it can be decided that derek hasnt actually done anything wrong because animal attacks or something and, like, derek is totally a human who doesnt have claws and fangs.

derek definitely has claws and fangs.aka the one where derek displays symptoms of an actual serious mental illness (and it isnt completely ignored, for once.)
