Summary

When the group is split up by unknown sources, they begin to question their place in the world, and who might not be their real friends. Merlin and Arthur are put to the test, for a fight for survival.

When Arthur has to leave Merlin in Rome, at fear of Merlin discovering he's a theif, he never expects to see Merlin again. Therefore, Arthur's pretty surprised when Merlin is the investigator that's perusing him and his team.
This is loosely based off of the Rusty-Isabelle romance arc from Ocean's 12.
This is more like a Merlin adaption of Ocean's 12, come to think of it.
So there's a lot of borrowed scenes and dialogue. -

Arthur agrees to go out just once with this "Merlin" guy because of Gwen's pleading. He's only seen the black haired guy once and he's accepted because he has to admit that he's quite good looking.
He's soon disappointed when he's confronted with a tremendously shy and reserved Merlin who wouldn't even meet his eyes and that would stammer, a lot; Arthur tells Gwen the same night that he won't go out with him again, no matter how gorgeous he might look.A random night after a few weeks from the "set up", Arthur enters the store where Gwen works to find instead a flushed and singing Merlin cleaning the window glass with earphones in his ears and a contagious rhythm in his hips.
Arthur wants a second chance, Merlin turns him down. God.
