A post-series L story which follows his life and development over twenty years of post-Kira fallout, intercontinental crimefighting, prickly OC romance, illness, Russia, America, and eventually karaoke. The setting involves several resurrections. It is otherwise not an AU, or only a very slight one. Light shows up several chapters after you give up on him; B soon after.
