Trek XI/Adam Lambert/Kris Allen xover - When Kirk is kidnapped by xenophobic separatists from the planet Sonara his whole world is thrown into chaos. By messing with his DNA they cause his relationship with Spock to completely change bringing into question the two officers' roles as Captain and First Officer. Their only hopes are Attaché Allen and Protector Lambert, a couple from Sonara in a similar relationship to their own.

Listening to his dad play when he thinks Dylan is asleep makes Dylan kind of sad and worried. His dad is good, that's what everyone says. But no one ever gets discovered in Arkansas. Alfie says even Baltimore is better if you want to be famous, but he still thinks that city kind of stinks, so he doesn't recommend it to Dylan. He says they need to move to Los Angeles. That's where all the famous people live. And Alfie has an Aunt Madeleine there, and he can totally come and visit sometimes.
Dylan doesn't have his own computer, but his dad lets him use the one in the living room. He even has his own account there, with his very own user picture (Batman) and password (robinsux). So he already looked Los Angeles up, and he's pretty sure Alfie is right about this. Because Los Angeles is where Adam Lambert lives, and if his dad is ever going to make an album and give concerts and stuff, Adam Lambert is the guy to help.

Summary
I've decided to make this a series because I suspect I'll be revisiting the Devilstone Universe as time goes by, for special situations.
Devilstone is a steampunk sci-fi western that uses the characters from season 8 of American Idol, most notably Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. Fans of AI will notice several cameos and nods to the events, but by no means is having watched Idol necessary.
You don't even really need to know Kris and Adam to enjoy it, or so I've been told.

Summary
Rock star Adam Lambert needs a break. Lane once mentioned a volunteer group she worked with in the past, and told him how rewarding it was. Adam remembers that when he's thinking of places to hide and recharge his batteries, so he has Lane sign him up.
Adam wonders if he's gotten more than he'd bargained for - Haiti is hotter than he'd imagined (his make-up melts off his face) and he'd take a shower twice a day if his tent (or the camp it was in) had running water, but then Adam meets the man in charge of the group of volunteers he's a part of.
Kris is no stranger to helping others, he's been on several mission trips since starting college. This time though Kris needed to get away so he could think: it's time to decide whether he wants to keep on playing music in bars and producing his own records that sell 10 copies, or if he wants to get married and settle down.
Kris thinks there's only one path to follow: the same path his father took. He'd given his music a chance, now it was time to be an adult and grow up. But then Adam Lambert shows up in his little group of volunteers, and shows Kris that there's another path. Will Kris be brave enough to walk the path that leads to happiness in Adam's arms?

He has a successful career, but after a string of failed relationships, has more or less given up on romance and is focusing on his career to the point of being a workaholic. He still has trouble with inappropriate appearances of the glambulge during performance and still loves glitter. Kris Allen is a singer/guitarist from Arkansas who moved to LA nearly two years ago to try and break into the business and get away from a small town and family life that became untenable after he came out of the closet. He's just about ready to give up hope of making it into the business. He's still wearing plaid. Like everyone, they are dealing with the aftermath of life not proceeding according to expectations and hoping that Plan B will work out even better than Plan A.
