“Arthur, you've rung me at 2:30 in the bloody morning from Soho where you appear to be on a street corner and shirtless, possibly drugged. I've no doubt you're capable of handling yourself under normal circumstances, but drunken blokes aren't always the most understanding sort, especially when you're not actually selling what you look like you're selling.”

Summary
AU crossover. Tony Stark has known Charles Xavier since Tony was eight and Xavier was his Uncle Charles. Now that Tony’s all grown up, Charles vets his dates. Well, most of them. Except for the ones where Charles brings someone who should really be in jail, not a fancy restaurant.
Slid off the back of this prompt in that it’s Charles who is Tony’s oldest friend, and Tony’s not much of a fan of Erik: By virtue of being Tony's oldest friends, Charles and Erik reserve the right to vet all his significant others. Through terrifying dinner parties. Even they can't find much wrong with Steve, though. And sort of end up asking why he's with Tony.
Thanks to Copperbadge and 51stcenturyfox for beta/Americanpick, and pointing out/fixing the bits that didn’t make sense, and to Copperbadge for providing a title.

Summary
Arthur is an assassin hired to kill a seemingly unremarkable English actor named Eames, but a chance meeting has Arthur falling for his target instead.
Excerpt: None of this gave Arthur even an inkling as to why some very powerful people would pay a sizable sum to have the actor killed. From the carefree way Eames was going about his business as usual, Arthur would wager the actor had no idea that someone was at this very moment evaluating his life for the best possible chance to end it.

Summary
Daemon AU: When he was a child, Erik was forced to split from his daemon. It’s only when he meets Charles that he thinks he might have finally found someone who he could safely leave her with. Missing scenes from canon and a few re-written scenes, plus what happened after. Somewhat loose interpretation of Pullman’s ideas.
Was originally for this prompt, but grew way beyond the bounds of it: Schmidt has recently acquired another metal blade with a too-sharp edge, a blade of intercision, after Erik destroyed the last one (but too late). Erik and his daemon decide to separate on their own terms, rather than Schmidt's. No barren wastelands, no area daemons can't cross -- it's just their willpower against the world.
Warnings: child abuse, violence, homophobia, animal cruelty, supporting character deaths (as in canon)

Summary
The one time Tony wants for Loki to have ulterior motives, he doesn't. Neither does he really need protection, but he asks for it anyway, and there are ulterior motives involved, but not where it counts.
All in all, Tony probably would have been better off if this had been a dream after all.

Summary
In Tony's defense, he has noticed that the Hulk seems a little...clingy. He's been standing in front of Iron Man a lot during battles and roaring. It makes battles a little boring, and Tony's a little put off until he remembers, 'Hello, Iron Man,' and he flies off to go kick some butt of his own.
“Have you not noticed, Tony Stark, that the Hulk seems overly preoccupied with your safety?” Thor asks.
