Summary
It is 2015. Rodolphus Lestrange has been Minister for Magic nearly ten years. While he has brought change to the Wizarding world, most of it necessary after the administration of Amos Diggory, he is, unfortunately, in the back pocket of the Dark Lord Brendan Avery. Avery plays behind the scenes, quite unlike his father Voldemort. Avery is content to be the puppetmaster for now.
That will change.
There is a prophecy.Harry, Ron and Hermione fled England in November 2005 after one of them committed murder. Though pardoned, they made the decision to stay away until their eldest received her letter from Hogwarts.
That time is now.
Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger will be returning to Hogwarts as professors. Potter and Weasley will be sharing the duties of the Defence Against the Dark Arts position while Granger teaches Ancient Runes. Bridget Potter, the child of Harry and Hermione, begins at Hogwarts this fall. Her siblings, Emma and James Weasley, are twins from Ron and Hermione who will begin at Hogwarts next year.
They hope Avery will stay ignorant and allow the children to finish school, but none think it likely – especially if Avery is anything like his father. -
