Summary
The summer holiday is approaching and Alastor Moody has a plan: he is going to investigate a cold case he has never forgotten. He is joined on his quest by a bored Minister for Magic, a Snape who will rather be in Azkaban and a Death Eater who can't sleep at night. Together they attempt to solve the case that has haunted Moody for a decade. Together they face immense dangers as they land on the Unplottable Isle of Drear. To solve the case, the group of determined wizards must learn to cooperate, solving the riddle of the mysterious disappearances. Moody, however, finds more than just the answer to that. Much more.

I won't spoil the pairings, but since this story was written for HP_Beholder on LJ, you can bet that they aren't your average, well-known pair(s). There's adventure, redemption, understanding, forgiveness and even some passion on display here, and you can't go wrong if you keep your mind open.

When his counterpart in the Communications team comes to him with evidence of a plot to expose wizarding Britain, he is all ears. And only in part because the messenger has such a familiar voice.

I’ll start by saying that unless you are British I doubt you’ll get most of the jokes in this. Sorry. If you are (or you aren’t but keep a weirdly close eye on British politics) then this will be one of the funniest fics you have ever read. Blair make an appearance, as does Borris Johnson, Gordon Brown and most memorably, Peter Mandelson. There is nothing about this fic that isn’t wonderful. Blamebraptom at her very very best.

Summary
When this season's purple courgettes are woefully thin, Draco Malfoy thinks it amounts to small beans. Next thing he knows, the Department of Standards is over-run with leeks, Brussels sprouts all sorts of legislative difficulties, and somebody appears to have put a roquette under Harry Potter. Can Draco seize a marrow victory? Or will his plans for peas be squashed?
All along, Kingsley Shacklebolt finds himself pining for the good old days, when, instead of governing, all you had to worry about were Dark Lords and imminent death,

While you will only get the nuances of this fic if you’re British, unlike some of Blamebrampton’s other fics it will still be one of the funniest fics you’ve ever read even if you don’t get every little joke. Beautifully crafted and wonderfully constructed, this is a hilarious fic by a true master of the fandom.

Summary

Summary
Snape awakens and comes to the realization that he is very much alive, and he has the Potter boy to thank for it. This story follows a sweet and somewhat introspective look at how their relationship grows after the war. Meanwhile, the disappearances of several Ministry workers has the new Minister for Magic deeply concerned. What will happen when Snape's new life suddenly intersects with these disappearances and he has to choose between a life of freedom or one that follows his heart? Snape's POV; will contain soft/mild slash.

Summary
Narcissa and Lucius found friendship in their arranged marriage, and love outside it with Severus and Tonks - spies with divided loyalties, both. Their secret loves and loyalties would, quite by accident, add the final layer to the force that might bring down the Dark Lord once and for all. Canon compliant-ish to Astronomy Tower (liberties taken, especially with dates). Told in three acts:
Act 1: The Hidden Third. Narcissa's pregnancy leads to soul searching - about the dilution of a Pureblood family, the extinction of the Houses of Malfoy and Black, and the triple defiance of the three in concealing their child's nature from their own Dark master.
Act 2: Maîtresse-en-titre. After years of indulging Narcissa and Severus, oblivious to the mastery of romantic love, Lucius learns first-hand about the craziness and folly of loving the wrong person. This one is Nymphadora Tonks, the spy sent to betray him.
Act 3: The Sons Of July. Severus hears a new prophecy, and learns of a fourth Son of July. In the final battle, Nymphadora, Lucius, Severus and Narcissa are reunited - but none have the full picture, and sacrifices will be needed along the way.

Draco’s an Assistant Cursebreaker at Gringotts, Harry’s an Auror. They receive the unwanted task of troubleshooting malfunctioning magical objects at the Gringotts holiday help desk. Together. The only question is whether they will kill each other before the magical objects succeed in killing them.

Summary
Podfic version of Maya's fandom defining slash fic, Drop Dead Gorgeous. All copies of the fic itself have been taken down since the author turned pro.
It begins as crack, and by halfway through the second chapter becomes rather serious, though obviously still charming and funny, and ends very happily. Set in a future AU where Harry and Draco are Aurors and working as partners. Harry is informed that he is part Veela and his sexual frustration is inspiring feelings of uncontrollable lust in his compatriots. To assuage his saucy, salacious charms, Harry needs to get laid, but he's currently hung up on Draco, who is dating Katie and appears to be straight.
I'd initially planned to post each chapter in separate sections, but I realized the sections ended up sounding a bit incongruous, and they weren't quite as polished as I would have liked, so I've begun rerecording it by chapters rather than sections. Each chapter is approximately 60-90 minutes long. Thoughts/critiques on my timing and characterization are ALWAYS deeply helpful and appreciated : )

Summary
After dying in the Shrieking Shack, Severus Snape is sent back so that he can learn to be a functional human being. In spite of the strides he appears to make, he and his very own “Clarence” know that it’s mostly window-dressing.
Hermione Granger doesn’t regret the choices she made during the war, but that doesn’t stop her seeking some sort of absolution for some of the consequences. If she could let go of her guilt, she might learn to believe she’s got abilities beyond being a swot.

Summary
When seasoned book-dealer and freelance researcher Remus Lupin is inveigled into a highly lucrative wild-goose chase by Albus Dumbledore, he is quite reasonably, expecting the worst. His fears are initially confirmed when he ends up forced to co-operate with the deeply unpleasant Severus Snape and the two find themselves in a race to stay one step ahead of psychopathic bibliophiles, suspicious detectives and the various unpleasant memories of their past. Remus is aware that under such circumstances, falling for one's companion is almost inevitable, but he's damned if he isn't going to put up a good fight first. Unfortunately Severus Snape may be more than a match for him.
